
Gismart Launches Its First Marketing Academy: The Debut Cohort Is In!
In May and June, Gismart hosted its first educational course in digital marketing — the Gismart Marketing Academy. This free, five-week intensive program was designed for those ready to kick-start a career in mobile app marketing. From 460 applications, 26 participants were selected to join the Academy. After completing the course and presenting final group projects, top students were invited to interview for roles at Gismart.
No Fluff, Just Real Marketing
The Gismart Marketing Academy is our first educational project, created to share over a decade of experience in digital marketing and the mobile app industry. The course is tailored for students, recent graduates, and career switchers interested in product marketing and IT.
The five-week curriculum was structured into four key modules:
- Introduction to Digital Marketing
- Marketing Strategy and Acquisition
- Performance Marketing
- Creative Production
The content was developed and delivered by Gismart’s marketing leads accompanied by guest industry experts. Each week concluded with bonus sessions that covered broader career and management topics. Highlights included a talk by our CEO Mykola Tymkiv, “How to Manage Your Manager”, and a session from our Talent Acquisition team on “Product Marketing Careers: Next Steps.”
Learn. Practice. Launch.
The course was heavily practice-oriented. Students worked through real-world case studies, completed weekly assignments, and received personal feedback from mentors — all to get equipped for the final project.
In the final stage, students teamed up to create marketing strategies for hypothetical new products within the Gismart ecosystem. The task mirrored real-life product development:
- Identify a niche and target audience using market research;
- Propose a product with clear user value and monetization;
- Build a go-to-market strategy;
- Design ad creatives and a (mock) testing plan — all in under a month.
Final projects were pitched to a panel of Gismart experts. Several ideas were not only impressive, but also genuinely viable.

What’s Next?
Upon completion, all participants received official certificates, with top performers being invited to interview for roles such as Creative Producer, Product Marketing Manager, and User Acquisition Manager at Gismart.
